Off-Season

Yesterday the 2011 season ended for the Twins.  To my surprise, they won their final game thanks to an excellent pitching effort by Carl Pavano.  Small consolation that it was, somehow avoiding 100 losses helped soothe the sting of a very bad season – 2nd worst in Twins history.

Now the off-season begins and it should be a very interesting one this year.  There are so many positions in doubt for 2012 that Bill Smith and his staff will have more than enough to work on.  That will also provide ample opportunities and topics for discussion on this blog.

Over the next few weeks, I hope to provide links to journalists and bloggers comments about issues facing the Twins this off-season as well as offering some of my own thoughts.
